Big Bend National Park and Big Bend Ranch State Park
Capitol Reef, Grand Staircase and Petrified Forest
We went on a trip to Southwest Texas to visit Big Bend National Park, Big Bend Ranch State Park, Marathon, Texas (Gage Hotel & Restaurant) and Terlingua, Texas (Ghost town) during September 2018. Our 5 day adventure included 21 hikes, vistas and overlooks, 28 miles of hiking and over 2,300 pictures captured.
We went on an awesome adventure at Capitol Reef National Park and Grande Staircase Escalante in South Central Utah during June 2018. We took some amazing shots of the "red rock", the slot canyons of Grande Staircase Escalante, and hiked through Utah's petrified forest.
Located in south-central Utah in the heart of red rock country, Capitol Reef National Park is a hidden treasure filled with cliffs, canyons, domes and bridges in the Waterpocket Fold, a geologic monocline (a wrinkle on the earth) extending almost 100 miles.
We met some Polish friends in Boulder, Utah at the Guest Ranch we stayed at, and became star enthusiasts together! We even ran into them on the Zebra Slot Canyon Trail! Polish travelers: Dominika, Karolina, Dariusz, Jacek, Piotrek, Marcin
