Summer at Bow Lake
Bow Lake is a small lake in western Alberta, Canada and is located on the Bow River, in the Canadian Rockies. This summer view captures the mirror reflection of the surrounding mountain and glacier, with beautiful greenery and purple flowers in the foreground. Bow Lake is one of the lakes that line the Icefields Parkway in Banff National Park and Jasper National Park. Water in the lake is melt water of the Bow Glacier, appearing turquoise blue from the glacier grounded "rock flour" that suspends in the water.
